Louis Philippe style jam holder. This is a replica of a Jam Holder that could be found in just about every French family's home (my mother has had an antique one in her kitchen since I was a little boy). It stores her home made preserves, for the winter sweet tooth.
The Louis Philippe style is made of solid cherry and is constructed in the same manner as an original. You have an option though, of a right door or left door opening AND solid cherry or solid cherry with burl. Burl slightly more in price.
These pieces make "naturally", great jam holders, nightstands and are great to drop a sink into or have a bowl set on top.
We try to keep these in stock all the time. They are made in France and are made one at a time, they are not mass produced.

This is a Louis XV style jam holder.
The Louis XV also comes with a left door or right door opening. The Louis XV style is made of solid walnut and is also available in solid walnut with burl, slightly more in price.
